About me
Michael Campion, M.Ed., serves as Director of Academic and Learning Technologies at the University of Washington School of Medicine (UWSOM), where his team partners with faculty and students in the effective use of technology and data to support medical student education. Examples of this work include instructional design, course and curriculum management, media production and delivery, audio-visual systems, administrative and evaluation systems, data and dashboard development, and education data governance. He co-leads UWSOM’s Innovations in Curriculum Design & Delivery Workgroup and its effort to coordinate artificial intelligence efforts in medical education. He has been actively involved in numerous national committees and workgroups at the intersection of education, technology, and medicine. Currently, he is Chair of the AAMC Group on Information Resources.
