Cognitive integration is foundational for development of the master adaptive learner leading to adaptive expertise in clinical practice. This workshop provides evidence for the value of cognitive integration, then introduces practical tools that can be applied in pre-clerkship and clerkship settings to promote cognitive integration in teaching and learning.
